Shipping Costs
We've made our shipping costs as fair as possible. The costs are based on each items size, weight, shipping method, and delivery address.

To find the total shipping cost for your order, simply add the items to your shopping cart. After the ship to zip code is entered, the available method(s) of shipment along with their shipping cost will be shown on the screen.

Shipping Times
Unless otherwise noted, all items featured on the Micro Matic website are warehoused by four strategically located distribution centers across the U.S. (Northridge, CA; Brooksville, FL; Machesney Park, IL; and Center Valley, PA). Typically orders placed before 10:00 am usually ship the same business day. Efficient order processing and our regional warehouses results in fast order delivery!

Transit times for most UPS Ground shipments are one to three business days (Monday through Friday). For an additional cost on rush shipments we offer UPS Next Day air delivery that will have your order delivered on the next business day. Transit time for most freight shipments is three to five business days.

Micro Matic is not responsible for delays in shipping due to weather, mechanical failures, or other factors beyond our control.

Heavy or Oversize Items
Heavy or large items, such as most keg refrigerators, must be shipped via Freight Carrier.

The Monday to Friday freight carrier delivery includes curbside drop off and does not include lift gate service to unload the shipment, carrying the item into the building, un-packaging, or installation. For freight carrier shipment, if a dock or forklift is not available, we recommend having a minimum of two people available at the drop-off time for unloading the shipment. Should lift gate service be required, it is available for an additional $50.00 charge.

We are sorry, but it is not possible to specify a preferred freight carrier.

In order to provide our customers with the best shipping rates and service, our freight rates are calculated based on delivery to larger urban center addresses. An additional delivery charge may apply for some rural area deliveries. Should this apply to your order, we will contact you outlining any additional charges prior to processing the order. Freight Carrier deliveries to rural areas may also be an additional one to two business days beyond the typical three to five business day transit times for freight shipments.

Please note: Heavy or oversize items cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. protectorates and Territories, or APO/FPO addresses.

Although we can ship products to Canada; at this time the website’s shopping cart does not support orders for heavy or oversize items, such as most keg refrigerators, which must be shipped via Freight Carrier. Orders for such items need to be directed to our International Sales staff, which can be contacted via e-mail or via phone, see below. Orders Shipped to Canada
Orders shipped to Canada are subject to a customs brokerage fee, C.O.D. fee, taxes, and a disbursement fee. These fees and taxes are always the responsibility of the recipient, and payment for them is required to the carrier at time of shipment delivery. These fees and taxes are not included in the price of an order placed with us, but are in addition to the total cost of order.

Customs brokerage fees, C.O.D. fees, taxes, and a disbursement fees fluctuate but in general are approximately as broken down below.

C.O.D Fee
A fee of $4.25 for collecting of brokerage charges.

Taxes
Depending on the destination, shipments are subject to either a Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 5% and Provincial Sales Tax (PST) of 7% to 8%, or to a Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13%.

Disbursement Fee
A fee of 2.7% (Minimum $5.85) of the fees and taxes.

Customs clearance for shipments into Canada are handled by UPS. We are sorry, but it is not possible to specify a preferred company for customs clearance.

Cancellations or refusal of orders shipped to Canada, which have already shipped, are subject to the minimum 20% handling and restocking charge ($10.00 minimum charge), return freight charges, and customs fees and taxes as Micro Matic is liable for these charges in the case a shipment is refused.

Customer Pickup

Although we do not have showrooms to support walk-in business, most items are available for pickup at our four distribution centers. To find the availability of an item, simply click on the More Info button on the item. If a product is stocked at only some of our facilities,you will see where the item is stocked shown in the shipped from field.

Orders for customer pickup can be placed toll free toll free at (866) 291-5756 during regular business hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am EST to 4:00pm PST. Once placed, most orders for customer pickup are processed and ready for pickup within 2 to 4 business hours.

Order Tracking
Shipped orders can be tracked via the tracking number and link on the shipment confirmation e-mail. If you still have questions about an order that has not arrived, please contact us, and one of our knowledgeable customer service associates will be happy to help you.

Receiving Merchandise: UPS
In general, it is up to the UPS driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required for package delivery. This will depend on the area of delivery. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature, and no one is present to accept the delivery, they will attempt delivery of the package two more times. At each attempt they will leave a notification of an attempted delivery with the date and time of the next delivery attempt.

Inspect your shipment when it is delivered. If your package has arrived damaged, or otherwise tampered with, notify your UPS delivery person immediately. Any delay makes it more difficult to file a claim.

Customers are responsible for checking their order when it arrives to insure that all items are present and undamaged. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us immediately. This must be communicated to us within seven (7) days so that a claim can be placed with UPS. If not communicated to us within seven (7) days, Micro Matic has no recourse to file a claim and is not responsible for missing or damaged items.

Should it be necessary for Micro Matic USA, Inc. to send a replacement shipment, all replacement shipments will be shipped standard UPS Ground service. Special or expedited shipping service is available upon request and will be at the Buyers expense.

Receiving Merchandise: Freight Carrier
When your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail which includes the shipment tracking number, and a link to the freight carrier's website. To avoid delays in delivery, the recipient should contact the freight carrier to schedule a delivery appointment.

Upon delivery of the shipment, it is extremely important to carefully unpack and inspect the contents thoroughly for any sign of damage before signing the carriers freight bill of lading. The driver is required by his/her employer to wait during your inspection. If damage is found, you should refuse the shipment immediately and the driver is required to take the shipment back. If the outside packaging is damaged, but the contents are not, you should accept the shipment, but make a note on the freight bill the outside packaging was damaged. This will protect your rights in the event there is concealed damage.

By signing the carrier's freight bill, without any notations of damage, you are agreeing the shipment was delivered in good condition. Any damage found after that point, should be directed to the freight carrier in the form of a concealed damage claim. Micro Matic has no recourse to file a freight damage claim once the shipment was signed for as received in good condition.

For damaged shipments that have been refused, we will ship a replacement or refund the Buyers money. All replacement shipments will be shipped standard service. Special or expedited shipping service is available upon request and will be at the Buyers expense.

Accepted shipments with freight bill notations of damaged packaging and then found to have concealed damaged, must be reported to the freight carrier within 48 hours of delivery. Such occurrences will be remedied as soon as possible with replacement of damaged items shipping once the damaged freight is inspected and accepted by the freight carrier.

For all shipments, the packaging should be saved in good order for seven (7) days.

Problems with Your Order (Receiving Merchandise)

Missing Item
Sometimes, because of varying item availability and warehouse locations, you may receive more than one shipment when you place an order with multiple items. Rest assured you will not be charged any additional shipping costs for the split shipment. The shipment confirmation you receive will tell you which items have been shipped separately.
