Kegerator Tapping Kit Includes:
  • Brand new aluminum 5 lb. CO2 cylinder (legally shipped empty). Aluminum cylinders are lightweight, durable, do not rust, and are easy to handle. Aluminum cylinders are also superior in quality compared to most steel cylinders found on the market.
  • Single gauge CO2 regulator with a 0-60 output gauge and a 3/8" O.D. outlet barb with shutoff.
  • Vinyl gas hose with Tee fitting and re-usable snap clamps.
  • Two American Sankey "D" system keg couplers that features a stainless steel, a stainless steel handle fork, a tin-nickel alloy plated probe, a short lever handle, a built in pressure relief valve, and check valves for both the gas-in and liquid-out ports.
  • NSF approved 3 inch diameter dual faucet polished stainless steel column tower. Preassembled with brewery approved hose, that is unaffected by normal cleaning chemicals, and a hex nut and neoprene washer on one end for connecting to keg coupler.
  • Two premium quality chrome plated solid brass beer faucets. Features a chrome plated forged brass body, a Teflon lever washer for smooth consistent performance and easy operation, a solid brass faucet lever, and a chrome plated bonnet, shaft, and collar.
  • Cleaning kit that includes a plastic cleaning bottle with a faucet cleaning attachment, cleaner, and cleaning brush.
  • Complete, detailed easy to follow instructions for quick installation.

Energy Star:
Beer coolers, kegerators, and other beverage coolers can not qualify for ENERGY STAR. The ENERGY STAR program only qualifies residential refrigeration products included in the Department of Energy's appliance efficiency standards program. There are 18 product classes in the refrigerator efficiency standards. Beer coolers, kegerators, and other beverage coolers do not meet the technical definitions for any of the 18 product types in the standards program, therefore they are not included in the ENERGY STAR program.

I absolutely love this thing. I have mine in my garage which I know is not the ideal location to store this unit. It is right beside my beer fridge. Purchasing was easy, the set up was slightly difficult but not too bad. I made a call to customer service and they got me on track. This dual handle is basically the single with a different tower. All of the holes are drilled for the single tower and not the dual. I upgrade my regulator and sort of wish I had upgraded even further to the one where you can regulate each kegs pressure. I have found out that kegs are a science. You WILL get foam. There variables between the temperature of the beer, CO2 pressure and temp of the glass are huge. The good news is you get to drink your experiments/mistakes. The bad news is with two 1/6 barrels you don't have as much beer to play with. I bought an upgraded cleaning kit for mine too and would recommend that as well. I clean every keg or about once a month. I am finding that beer doesn't stay in a 1/6 barrel for very long which I find to be a good thing. Trying different beers is why I went with this. I am flirting with trying to put a 1/4 and a 1/6 in at the same time. It looks like I have just enough room. That would be awesome if I could do it. My house is now the party spot because of this thing. If you look at it, it will pay for itself after time depending on how much beer you drink. The only downside is the spill tray. It is a bit too narrow for two handles. Good luck with your purchase.

On second 1/2 barrel temp runs good easy to clean and hardware very well manufactured.Micromatics sales staff was very helpful. Me and my freinds are extremely happy with this summit product.

What could be better than having two cold draught beers on tap?? Nothing, that's what. This is a good unit and for $100 more it's totally worth it to have a 2nd beer on tap. Assuming you're not a wimp and can drink enough..... =)
