    I bought this shank to replace a plated one that came with my kegerator. Over time, the plating on the inside of the shank and faucet had nearly worn completely off.

    I had a machinist take a look at this piece when I was finding a solution for the nipple that solders to the opposite end. He told me that the build quality is excellent and it would be impossible to find a piece machined the way this one is for the same price.

    It was a little expensive for my budget but I am extremely pleased with the peace of mind I have knowing that my beer won't be sitting on exposed brass all day!

    It's a shank. It works. It doesn't rust. It's made out of strong metal. The end.
