Kegerator Conversion Kit Includes:

  • Dual gauge CO2 regulator that features a solid forged brass body, wire mesh inlet filter, quad-ring inlet seal, built in pressure relief valve, 0-60 and 0-3000 PSI gauges, and a 3/8" O.D. outlet barb with shutoff.
  • 4’ of red Thermoplastic super vinyl gas hose with re-useable snap clamps.
  • American Sankey "D" system keg coupler that features a stainless steel body, a stainless steel handle fork, a tin-nickel alloy plated probe, a short lever handle, a built in pressure relief valve, and check valves for both the gas-in and liquid-out ports.
  • 5’ long super vinyl beer hose assembly. This brewery approved hose will not rot, swell, or dry out and is unaffected by normal beer line cleaning chemicals. Pre-assembled with hex nut and neoprene washer on one end for connecting to keg coupler.
  • 4" long PVC door spacer that allows secure shank installation without crushing the refrigerator door insulation.
  • 5-1/8" long nipple shank assembly. The one-piece construction prevents leaks, and the barbed fitting allows easy connection of the beer line assembly. Includes shank, forged brass locknut, plastic flange, coupling nut, sleeve, and snap ring.
  • Premium quality chrome plated solid brass beer faucet. Features a chrome plated forged brass body, a PTFE lever washer for smooth consistent performance and easy operation, a solid brass faucet lever, and a chrome plated bonnet, shaft, and collar.
  • High gloss black plastic faucet knob.
  • Durable 6" x 4" stainless steel drip tray with 2" tall backsplash and no drain (no hassle with hoses and bottles). The backsplash has keyhole shaped mounting holes that allow easy removal for cleaning.
  • Faucet wrench for easy tightening the faucet to the shank.
  • Complete, detailed easy to follow instructions for quick installation.

Notes:
Most domestic draft beer is not pasteurized, so it must be kept cold. The temperature must be maintained between 36-38°F, and the temperature must be maintained all the way to the faucet. Temperatures above 38°F will cause foam and promote sour/cloudy beer. If the temperature rises above 50-55°F, bacteria growth rapidly begins to spoil flavor and cloud the beer. Simply put, keg beer storage can be compared to milk storage: "If it is not kept cold, it will spoil."

install took about 45 min. but only because i had to find something to ream out the hole for the shank. gigidy... the instructions call for a 1" hole saw when 1 1/8th" would probably be closer to what you need.
Also, get your keg and have it chilling in the fridge for at least a day before your get the kit. nothing sucks worse than having everything hooked up but you're pulling foam because the keg is'nt properly chilled.

UPS Dropped this kit off at 11:30 am. I was drinking tap beer by 9:00pm. Most of the time it took me was getting the $70 used refrigerator all cleaned up. Installation time was only about 2 hours for the kit. Everything worked right from the get go. I can't imagine finding a kit that would be easier to install or work any better than this one does. I am already thinking about buying the parts I need to make it into a two keg system. Great system for the price.

Bought this kit a few months ago from Micro Matic and it has worked perfectly ever since.. for 140 bucks this is definitely the best way to build a home kegerator (I recommend also ordering the co2 cylinder and then all you need to do is add a fridge and presto, you've got home brewed draught beer).. product quality is very good and Micro Matic's customer service was great too
