    I am using a jockey box 40' coil. Getting very different answers as to the proper psi from 12 to 35.

    with a jockey box, I assume you're serving the keg over several hours....

    12 psi and you're not likely to get any flow at all. 12psi would be correct in a short draw system with the standard 5' of line. 30 would be typical to achieve a proper faucet flow in a jockey box. If you apply that pressure for very long, you will overcarbonate the beer. So drink it fast!
