Cleaning the lines

i used the cleaning kit and my beer tasted gross after so i removed all the couplers and hoses and boiled them. all was good until i boiled them again and now the beer taste flat. did i do any harm by boiling it. do i have to start over and change the lines?

Did you rinse at least 3 times?
keep drinking, it'll get better.
