  • BBQ Kegerator Dispenser

I notice alot of people mention putting a fan of some sort in there kegerator to circulate the air up into the dispenser. How is this achieved when your dispenser is not mounted directly to the top of the kegerator. Mine is mounted on the top of my bbq island. I took the blank that is needed for just using as a refrigerator and cut a hole big enough to where my hose would fit up through it to the dispenser. This is not completely air tight, so I know some of the coolness leaks into my island space. Should I really be concerned with it being air tight? And should I be concerned that the dispenser doesnt get the cold air up into it? Just dont see how I could

You should probably duct it in some way. Insulated PVC pipe, tubing or some other like item with a forced air system to cool the line all the way to the shank would be best.
Malt is the soul of beer... and yeast gives it life..
but the kiss of the hop is the vitality of that life!

My three favorite beers: The one I just had, the one I'm drinking now and the next one I'll have.
