  • Gas in Beer line

I have a Frigidaire beverage dispenser that came with Micromatic beer dispensing equipment. This keg I am getting CO2 from the keg into the beer line. I end up with a big bubble in the line right at the keg coupler. What could cause this?

Is your pressure setting right? This can happen when your regulator setpoint is to low.

My keg pressure is set for 12 pounds, but I just raised it from about 10. I noted that the problem seemed to get worse with more pressure, and I was wondering if there is any way that gas can get straight from the gas line to the beer line thru the keg coupler.

        the warmer...

...part of the tower will cause the co2 to breakout.

By 'part of the tower' do you mean part of the coupler? My kegerator does not have a tower coming out of the top, it is from Frigidaire and is more like a converted keg cooler, in that the faucet is on the fridge door. I am getting a gas void several inches long at the first bend in the beer line from the coupler, not just bubbles in the beer.

            Then...

...your pressure is too low, or your beer is too warm. You never did say what temp the "beer" is.
