My Nostalgia is making a real loud noise from the compresser. Not the usual sound it makes when it comes on.. i have noticed my temp has also dropped inside as well. it was set to 32 and now it reads 37.

You've got big problems. It's tough to say without actually seeing it but I would say you have lost your compressor. About all you can do is unplug the unit. Best get someone that specializes in those types of units to look at it.
EDIT: I'm not familiar with that unit. Does it have a condenser fan that has stopped working? If so, that may be why your compressor acted up.
