  • Need help with my Guinness kegerator

I'm having a problem and need some help. For my stout (Guinness) I'm using beer gas mix with a short beer hose (4-5 feet) and keeping the fridge temp around 38. The gas company is a respectable company that does beer gas for many breweries. My first few beers out of the keg are perfect. But the further into the keg I go, the more and more foam. I tried one keg at 35 psi and another at 28 with similar results. It seems like it has to do with the gas since the first few beers/days are perfect. The beer is coming out of the tap more of a cream color than normal. Is it a beer line length problem? A psi or temp problem? Bad gas? Could this be a result of not letting the keg properly sit for 24 hours?

What is the temp of the beer? Not air temp of the kegerator.
What I have: Haier two tap, 525 faucets, tower cooler, 10' lines

Sounds to me like your gas blend has too much CO2. Unfortunately, pre-blended tanks are kind of a crapshoot. I had an account with a similar issue- I used a gas analyzer to test their pre-blended 25/75 tank and it read 43% CO2. Can you post a picture of the gas tank?
