  • Need help troubleshooting CO2 leak

On my old Danby, I've got a 5# CO2 tank going to a manifold out to two kegs. I've got a slow leak in the system. I've found that the leak is between the manifold and 1 keg. If I turn that one outlet off, the system holds with no leak. I've tried bumping the CO2 to 30psi and soaping connections are the manifold, gas inlet on sankey, beer out on sankey, base where sankey meets the keg, where beerline enters the shank, where faucet hooks to tower and at pivot point at faucet and cannot see any bubbles anywhere.

But under every test, the system does leak.

My test is start with manifold valve off, turn on gas (note pressure in both gauges) then turn off gas. See if either dial moves. With both outlets closed, the system stays solid. As soon as I repeat this test with the one valve open, I see that the gas tank gauge will slowly drop to 0 (as the gas is off and is leaking somewhere).

Anyone got any suggestions on what to try next? I was assuming if a seal was bad somewhere I am goin to see bubbles at 30psi.
