Out Of Town For A Week - Keg Care

I will be leaving on vacation for a week, and will have about 1/4 of a keg left. I want to know what the best thing I could do to make sure the keg isn't bad when I come back, after 1 week of no use. I don't know if leaving it tapped will cause problems, like having the beer in the tower go bad, then infecting the rest of the keg.

Follow up question - Do you leave your keg tapped 24/7? If one happens to drink 7 days/week or just on weekends, should you leave keg tapped at all times?
assuming no external variables (I.e. kids in the house etc)
