I been wondering this lately.
I just swapped out my empty 1/4 keg tonight (coors light) for a refill, the stamp on the keg says July 2019.
It is obviously now September 6, and I am wondering if the keg is bad, being the stamp on it says July 2019.
Does that mean the local beer distributor has had this keg since July 2019, if that's the case, how is it not bad by now, being its September???
Also do beer distributors have a limit of how long they will store a keg before they think/know its gone bad???
Hope for some answers/insight.
I tapped my keg a little while ago, and I feel it don't taste the same as usual either, but I feel it may be in my head thinking because its stamped July 2019, that its bad.
