new coupler issues

Decided to do a spring upgrade on the old kegerator. Upgrades included a perlick 630ss and a new micromatic ss d coupler. I am having issues with the coupler. I have a fresh sixtel of Kona Big wave. The coupler does not want to seat into the keg. It's almost like the probe is too long even when not engaged. Comparing to my old one, the new probe showing is a little less than 1/2 inch. The old hardly shows at all. If try to push and turn to seat beer sprays everywhere.

If the probe sticks out when not engaged, sounds like a "S" coupler to me and not a "D". Pictures would help.

You have a euro (s) and need a american (d) coupler sounds like but pics would confirm


edit: kona needs D couplers, just looked it up

Yeah after typing all that and taking a pic that I was going to post, my brain kicked in and I realized it could be the wrong coupler. Looking at the picture on MM site, it's clearly an S. Guess I'll be calling Monday morning. Thanks for the quick reply sir.
