My Beverage Air is still cold and the compressor is functioning properly, but the evaporator fan is no longer running. I would like to replace the fan, but cannot find any tutorials. Does anyone know where I may be able to find one?

jty23,
The website most refer to for parts for BM-23 is:
Restaurant Equipment Parts, Restaurant Parts, Restaurant Supply Parts, Commercial Kitchen Parts
Replacing motor should be fairly simple (unbolt and reverse install), just wait for a pro to confirm.

Replacing the evap fan motor isn't that hard.. Take the four screws out of the corners of the evap housing. Push up on the housing and pull towards you. Can be a slight struggle to get to pop out. Unplug the two wires from the motor, unscrew the the two screws that hold motor to bracket. Remove fan motor. Gently pull fan blade off motor shaft. Install fan blade on new motor. Make sure fan blade not too far down shaft where hits motor. Also make sure not far up shaft or will hit fan shroud when reinstalled.install motor back into bracket with the two screws. Reinstall the two wires.now for the hard part!! Trying to rehook housing back on clips. Reverse the removal of housing.push up and in, then swing bottom in to line up to screw holes. Usually takes a few trys to get. Also be careful not to bend pitch of bottom of the pan or evap condensation won't drain into drain hole. Last be careful of evap housing , has sharp edges to the Sheetmetal .

PPNJBeerguy did a good job describing the process. He pretty much covered it well.

If it doesn't, just cut the wires loose from the old motor & wire nut it to the new. Polarity does not matter.

New one does not come with wires. Could thing you ordered with fan blade because that thing I old as hell!! Like iceman said reuse the wire harnes plug end. Just cut very close to old motor and splice and you will need to install two 1/4 female tab terminals to wires to hook up new motor.
And make sure you order the kit that comes with the bracket too. You will probably need it!!

I also have an old BM23 that I purchased about 9 months ago for 160$. It runs and cools well. The evaporator fan has made odd noises since I first plugged it in. It also smelled like the motor was burning up recently. Now it has completely stopped running and it looks like it needs a new fan motor. Here are some pictures. I am going to try and use the 50$ fan listed above. The other one with the full bracket cost 180$ and that's a little more than I'd like to put into this old boy. Here are some pictures.....
Also, is the fan supposed to blow into the evaporator or out onto the keg? My fan blades were loose when I bought it and I think it was blowing in to the evaporator. Any help or suggestions are appreciated!
