    Chick drinks in the keg

    G'day guys,

    I will be getting my new keg system in a couple weeks and couldn't be happier.

    but to get approval from the finance officer (wife) I promised her that maybe I could use one of the kegs for a drink for her. I was wondering if anyone has tried something other then beer in the keg and if so how well did it go?

    I was thinking of mixing some vodka, water and a sodastream flavor or something along those lines.

    I know you can get bacardi raz in 1/4 kegs, and there are a few others, you should check with your local distributor and see if they can get anything else

      Someone here on the forum posted something about using Corny kegs to mix up a batch of Margaritas. Unfortunately I remember not where I saw it.

        Expose her to real beer and then keep a nice malty ale on tap for her.
        Malt is the soul of beer... and yeast gives it life..
        but the kiss of the hop is the vitality of that life!

            psychodad: Yeah I have got her liking a malty beer but she still prefers something a lot sweeter.

            I'm setting 4 cornys so having one for a chick drink doesn't worry me too much. Plus it will save me money on her buying cruisers and breezers, Bloody Aussie government has just put the another tax on any premix drinks..
