Hello, this is my first post here. About a month ago, my kitchen caught on fire and while most of the house had nothing more than light smoke damage, that room had a lot of soot damage. One of the items that was in my kitchen at the time was a party keg tap I have. The tap had some moderate soot damage that I was able to wipe off. I'm getting a keg this weekend for a family party and is it safe to use this tap still? Could the smoke have gotten in the tube and potentially able to contaminate my beer? I've casually asked people whose opinions with beer and keg related equipment that I trust, and they said I would be fine. Will I be fine to use this tap?
