  • Jockey Box Build Question

Hi guys...I recently built a jockey box with 2 50 ft. 3/8" stainless steel coils. Should I add 5 ft. of a smaller diameter line between the coil and the faucet shank? If so, would 5/16 do the trick or should I use 3/16?

Also, what is the best way to join the ss coil line with the plastic beer line? Thanks

Your best bet is to buy the shanks that the SS line attaches directly to. I know they have them for the 5/16" line but you would have to check for the 3/8". The less conections you have the better.

Hey guys - I recently picked up a used double coil, single tap jockey box and I am taking it with me to Maine this weekend. I am a little lost on the finer aspects of serving through a jockey box as I've never used one.

        Willian,
Fill the box with an ice/water bath, set CO2 pressure to around 30 - 35 psi and have fun.
