  • why do i need a glycol powerpack?

do i need a powerpack or could i just use an oversized glycol resevoir in my walkin with a re-circulator pump. i would think that a large resevoir chilled to the same temp would cool the lines. am i incorrect in my thinking? multi lines in my trunk at about 100 feet of lenght.

Yes, you need a power pack. The glycol needs to be chilled to 29-30 degrees to maintain keg storage temp the whole way to the faucet. If you were to do what you are thinking, the glycol would be too warm by the time it reached the faucets and back to the walk in.This would create massive amounts of foam.
