  • Beer Line replacement or cleaning?

    Hi all,
I know this is terrible but i have not used my kegerator in about a year...it has been sitting in a spare bedroom (not plugged in). I want to fire it back up for the holidays but not sure if i should just clean the line from the tower to the coupler or go ahead and replace? What do you guys think?

there is a local place that sell tubbing but not sure if i will be bitting off more than i can chew.....

    thanks,
    Chris

If the lines were clean when you shut it down, give 'email another cleaning and you should be OK. Otherwise I'd replace them. It isn't that bad of a job.
Malt is the soul of beer... and yeast gives it life..
but the kiss of the hop is the vitality of that life!

My three favorite beers: The one I just had, the one I'm drinking now and the next one I'll have.

Since it has been sitting for a year, don't forget to plug it in to make sure it gets cold before you buy your keg.
