So, I tapped Spaten Lager a few weeks ago and everything was normal, meaning after the usual 1 ounce pump and dump the beer was perfect. Now all of a sudden, maybe 1/4 of the way into the keg, I've started getting more foam in the initial pump and dump (which happens sometimes), but then right when the clear beer starts pouring I feel like the pour picks up speed and then starts kicking out foam. This is to the point where the glass will be 80% foam
So, my issues are that mid pour the foam will kick in (looking at the beer coming out of the tap), and the speed of the pour picks up too. I've checked all pressure and temp and everything is normal. I even released the pressure from the coupler valve and reset the pressures etc, but no change. I've been tapping beer at home for 10+ years and this is just weird now.
What is causing this? Could something be wrong in the lines or the coupler itself.
Thanks!
