Hey everybody. Lurked on this forum for years but never posted. I've had my dkc645bls since 2007. It had been off for about 2 years and I finally replaced the faulty touch pad about a month ago. Temperatures have been fine until today. The compressor wont kick on (just in time for a Christmas party). I've verified all the board connections. The buttons adjust the temp, but the compressor never kicks on. It clicks once very quietly once plugged in and gets warm but doesnt turn on. I've unplugged it for about 30m and replugged to the same thing. Attached to the board are a red/brown/yellow/green harness, a white/white harness and the harness attaching the key pad. How do I jump the compressor to test on this unit? What do I try next? I've been searching for several hours and see jumping red/black at the board, but I dont have a black wire to pin to. Im not a novice when it comes to mechanical stuff, just not familiar with fridges. Any help is appreciated.
