  • Co2 and Nitrogen

Correct me if I'm wrong but If I'm running Co2 in my kegerator and want to get a keg of Guinness I would need to switch from Co2 to Nitrogen right? Is this a easy swap just wanted to know what would be involved.

You need mixed gas, or Guinness gas as some refer to it. You need 75/25, where the 75% is nitrogen. You will need a new tank, a new regulator and a stout faucet.

It is not quite the same, but there are a number of CO2 dispensed stouts you can put on without any changes. They won

I have a home tap system with a 1/2 of Guinness and Nitrogen (beer gas 25% co2 75% nitrogen) tank size is 22 cf. My question is how many kegs do people go through with a tank of gas? Thanks!

You should get around 3 1/2 bbl kegs with a full tank depending on what pressure it's filled to (it should be about 2000psi). Cheers!
