  • Nostalgia KRS2100 Not Getting Power?

I attempted to adjust the minimum temperature of my recently purchased used kegerator. I simply removed the gauze and turned the screw on the top clockwise a few times. No excessive force was used, everything was as simple as it sounded.

The problem now is the kegerator doesn't appear to be actually getting power. Absolutely no noise. I checked to make sure there weren't any disconnected connections but failed to spot anything.

I'm at a loss now, any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Looks like I just screwed up the thermostat. In need of finding a new one, and figuring out how to replace completely. I bypassed the thermostat and plugged 'er in and it fired right up.

Edit #2: Definitely the thermostat. Attempted to call Nostalgia for a replacement/point me in the right direction and apparently they do not cover the thermostat. They informed to me to call local appliance repair shops, which I have attempted and so far no luck with anyone who will service a kegerator. I'd love to try to fix it myself, but I've had little luck finding a guide for a model similar to mine.

You have discovered how to bypass the thermostat, now you could simply use one of these: http://www.micromatic.com/kegerator-...troller-ii-e54

It will be an easy install and will likely be better as far as control than what was originally in the unit.

but the kiss of the hop is the vitality of that life!

My three favorite beers: The one I just had, the one I'm drinking now and the next one I'll have.
