Good day everybody!
What are people using to keep the beer line from freezing after a cleaning on long draw systems when there is no product to put into the line.
I have a couple accounts that will put a product on a line days after we are in to clean and if I try to purge the line with CO2, there is still a chance that we leave some water resulting in blocking the line. Currently we use a mix of water and glycerin. Does anyone have any other options for a flushing agent that will not freeze, is food safe, and does not leave a flavor. Before we started using glycerin, we used something in their cooler like Coors to flush the cold water rinse.
Cheers,
James Ameeti
