  • Frozen Keg

I froze my Keg of Fat Tire. I have thawed it out and poured a glass. The beer is like water now. So is there a way to save the keg or should I water the yard with it? Thank you for your help.

You ve got fertilizer. Good tasting fertilizer, but still fertilizer.

      besstr,
I'd use the search and find what happened to other people with frozen kegs and if applies to you then do as spdbump says. From what your describing you didn't freeze entire keg but did get too cold.

Beer will separate when frozen. If your keg did not thaw completely, this would be an issue. Be certain that the entire keg is back to liquid state. probably would not hurt to gently roll to mix. Then tap and determine if it is palatable. If not, do what the breweries do in this case - use as fertilizer.
