When cleaning beer lines on a system that has a draw of about 50 feet or less and uses a glycol cooling system, is it necessary to turn the glycol system off when cleaning. Process of cleaning I use is a circulating pump, running through water cleaner mixture then cold water for rinse. If I don't turn off glycol system first will I experience frozen lines or other unwanted issues?

Preferably, if glycol unit is equipped, power off just the circulation pump(s). When pumps are turned back on the glycol bath will be at desired temperature.Scott Zuhse, Instructor Micro Matic Dispense Institute
