Using washer at Co2/Coupler connection

Just wondering if it is recommended to use a washer at the connection site of the Co2 Line and the "Gas In" of the coupler.

(Im talking about using an additional o ring washer with the Check Valve that is already in there)

If it is a Micro Matic coupler, no. The valve in the pressure inlet is not only a one way valve , it is also the seal.
