Leak detector

Question for any of you guys using the 5550-rx1 leak detector.
Is it the same unit that is used to detect refrigerant leaks? All the info I can find says that it is that is the same, but I want to be sure before I purchase the used one that I am looking at. Thanx, tapman

The one I borrowed, which can=me from Micromatic was the refrigerant leak detector. It is a great tool !
