  • Connecting two regulators (so bartenders don't have to switch tanks)

    Hello,

I would like to be able to hook up two beergas tanks to the same line so the bartenders can just close a tank and open another one during service, rather than having to take off the regulator and connect it to another tank as they're doing now.

Would it be safe to connect the two regulators to a Y? Would there be any problems if a bartender forgot to close the empty tank and opened a full one? If this isn't the best way to do this, does anyone have suggestions on the best way to go about it? I haven't been able to find anything about this online. Thanks in advance for your help!

Your CO2 supplier should be able to supply/sell you a switch over valve. You connect two regulators to the valve and then you can just switch over between tanks.
