  • Cobra head ice issues

A customer is having some trouble with their Cobra head taps. There are two 3 tap Cobra heads with the MMPP4300-ICE glycol unit. The other day the glycol mix was 20 degrees and the heads only had ice on the bottom half and the top halves were covered in condensate. The restaurant is in NE Florida. The indoor humidity was over 60%. Nothing was frozen on the evaporator and the glycol is set up for a -60 degree freeze point. Any suggestions of things to look at would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ice towers are a very tricky item. What was the ambient temperature? Do they have ceiling fans above the towers? Near windows? Air exchangers above towers?

I've seen air flow, sunlight, ambient temperature cause problems.
