  • Flooded Towers

Installed 100's of systems but never a Flooded one.

What is the normal bath temp on a Flooded tower system?

Is there a minimum flow rating for each flooded tower?

Are the 2 flooded glycol tower tubes critical for supply and return in direction?

Do the flooded glycol tubes end at the base of the tower or does one go to the top and one at the bottom for better flow and heat transfer?

Will too much gph ruin heat transfer and restrict ice?

    Thanks Mike

    Mike,

Hopefully you realize that you will require a glycol chiller exclusive to the flooded towers. Normally bath temperature will have to be in the low 20Fs with a swing of two degrees. Based on the tower manufacturer, number of faucets, number of towers and outside influences (lights, air drafts, humidity, etc.) will determine chiller sizing and overall success. Great look but can be a royal pain if the stars are not aligned. Check your private messages for additional info.
