  • Power pack rated for outdoor installation

Anyone know of a powerpack rated for outdoor installation? Got a restaurant going into a very small woodframe building, he wants to put all refrigeration units outside.

I'm trying to convince him to find me a space for a "4301" unit. But thought I ask everyone here if they have any ideas.

    Thanks
    Dennis

Dennis, I'll contact the manufacturer to determine if they can modify the 4301 for outdoor use. I'll keep you posted.

      Dennis,

The 4301 can be upgraded for outdoor use. This will entail a custom order through Northeast ofc. and includes a cover for the condenser, crankcase heater and fan cycling control. Since the circulating pump and motor will not have a cover, the unit must have a roof of some sort or protection from moisture. Additional cost would be approx. $340 or so. Final call on this would have to come out of NE (Paul).
