  • where did this come from?

i was disconnecting the hoses from my couplers the other night to prepare for a cleaning. i had the help of two little kids, one of which found a black "plug" that resembles a top hat, i then found another. i looked closely at the coupler and found that there was a spring mechanism where the co2 connected and i am wondering if that is where they might have appeared from. i connected everything, one line with the "top hat" and one without, and i couldn't notice a difference as per the co2's deliver to the coupler.

can someone confirm what and where these might belong?

Sounds like these are the valves that keep beer from finding its way into your regulators.

    Item 10
Malt is the soul of beer... and yeast gives it life..
but the kiss of the hop is the vitality of that life!

My three favorite beers: The one I just had, the one I'm drinking now and the next one I'll have.
