  • Adding second faucet to Tower??

I have a single tower/faucet setup and would like to add another faucet to my kegerator. I would like the option of being able to dispense comm keg and homebrew (corny) at the same time.
I was thinking of drilling existing tower and adding shank. i'm certain it sounds much easier than it will be! I would like to save a few $ and this method would be cheaper than purchasing a new double tower.
Has anyone done this? Can it be done?
    Any thoughts would be great!
    Thanks

        Tower adapters are great!

However, 2 things to look at first.

        1 - Tower adapters only fit a 3" tower

2 - Make sure the hole in the top of the kegerator is large enough to take 2 beer lines and the blower tube while leaving enough space for the return air flow.

I've found most non-commercial kegerators have a 2" diameter tower and the hole is too small to take the added line and still provide the needed return air flow.

Good thing is that these kegerators are generally easy to cut through as most tops are composit board.
