I recently acquired an account that has these micromatic FOBs. They have lost several kegs in the past due to the vent sticking when they change a keg. I took a couple apart that were particularly sticky and its a pretty basic assembly for venting. Its all in the top metal part and it comes apart with a spring and gaskets that make it function. They're still not totally fast to pop back up after disassembly and cleaning and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I was thinking of putting a new spring in there (maybe these got compressed?), or some food grade lube? Definitely seems like the more dark and sugary beers are the culprits so maybe its just more frequent cleaning is the solution...any ideas are appreciated thanks!
