John Soler

Managing Director Distribution

John started his career in 1975 at Draft Service, Inc., a company that was founded two years earlier for the purpose of providing draft equipment to the beer industry. He became President in 1990, and during his tenure the company's sales tripled and established Draft Service as one of the leading equipment suppliers in the country. In 1998, he sold the company to Micro Matic USA and assumed his present position of Managing Director.

Dennis Miller

National Sales Manager

Dennis has 16 years experience in the draft beer industry starting in 1994 as a sales representative with Draft Service, Inc. When the company was sold in 1998 to Micro Matic, he has filled various sales, operational and management positions within the organization. With a previous background in sales, finance and management, he brings a total of 38 years of experience to his present position as National Sales Manager.

John Hickey

Foodservice Director

John’s success record is the result of over 30 years in the foodservice industry where he has worked with dealers and distributors. John recently joined the Micro Matic team after being with Beverage-Air where he was the Sales Manager for the eastern United States and Canada. The breadth of experience John brings is of great value to all Micro Matic customers.

Cian Hickey

National Accounts/Certified Installer Network Director

Cian had most recently been with Anheuser-Busch InBev where he was the Senior Sales Director, National Draught Beer, he was responsible for the entire draught beer portfolio representing over eight million barrels of beer. Cian has over 20 years of experience in the beer industry. He started with Guinness in 1991 and in 1995 moved to the USA to lead their draught initiative. He joined InBev in 2003 where he drove sales for Stella Artois.

 

 

Keith Miller

National Accounts Manager
Eastern Zone

Keith has several years of experience partnering with small to medium size companies providing consultative services to enhance their overall performance. He is currently consulting with National Account Retail partners, developing the ideal draft beer dispense system to cater to their individual and unique needs in order to increase their overall profitability.

Sean Connelly

National Accounts Manager
Central Zone

Sean has over 10 years of experience in the B2B sales, service, marketing, and management arena. He has a proven track record of making and growing lasting relationships with his clients all over the country. He is now establishing an expanding network of National Accounts through a consulting effort with his clients to design, build, and maintain the optimal beer dispensing systems for each of their individual needs.

 

 

Neil Cahill

Equipment & Supply Manager

Neil has been with Micro Matic for 14 years, first as an Area Sales Representative and then as the Regional Manager of the Central Facility. Neil recently moved to the Foodservice Division as Equipment and Supply Manager. He has designed thousands of beer systems in the U.S. and overseas. He currently is working with design/restaurant equipment suppliers to improve the quality of equipment and dispensing of draft beer.


 

 


Regional Sales Management

 

Jim Barnett

Regional Sales Manager Northeast

Jim joined Micro Matic in July 2005 as the Regional Sales Manager at the northeast facility. Jim not only managed the day-to-day operations but also was responsible for sales in the DC, DE, MD and VA territory. In February 2007 Jim hired a sales rep to cover the four state regions and has since taken on the Regional Sales Manager's position full time. Jim is responsible for sales in the 14 state northeast regions.

Jeff Tucker

Regional Sales Manager Southeast

Jeff is the newest Regional Sales Manager.  He comes with an extensive background in sales and management. Working in various companies including Pepsi, his responsibilities included Key Account Manager, Market Development Manager, District Sales Manager and an operational background.  Jeff oversees sales for the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. 

 

 

Phil Sanders

Regional Sales Manager West

Phil joined Micro Matic Industrial in 2006, then transferred to Micro Matic Dispense Services in 2007, at which time he became Regional Sales Manager for the 13 western states. Phil brings with him over 35 years of sales, warehouse distribution and sales management experience. Phil's goal has always been to provide the highest level of sales and service expertise earning trust and loyalty from each and every customer.

Craig Gorkowski

Regional Sales Manager Central

Craig joined the Micro Matic Management Team in 2009; with a proficient 15-year history in the beer business leading sales operations in the central United States. He is an accomplished Sales and Marketing Strategist who is passionate about the beer business and dedicated to customer relations. Craig oversees the 17 state Central region.

 

 

Training

 

Tom Geordt

Technical Director

Tom, aka Tech Tom, has been working with draught beer equipment and installations for over 20 years. He has designed thousands of beer systems both in the U.S. and around the world. Tom has traveled throughout North America educating draught beer service people, restaurant and bar owners, and installers of draught beer equipment about the advantages and profitability of dispensing draught beer correctly. He is currently the Technical Director for Micro Matic.

Scott Zuhse

Trainer

Scott joined Micro Matic in 2002 after a career of 18 years at the Coors Brewing Company where he held numerous positions within the Sales and Organizational Development departments. During this time, Scott worked 10 years in the Coors National Draught Sales and Service as Training/ Research and Development Specialist conducting the basic and advanced draught training-certification workshops. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and his passion for draught beer quality into the classroom.

 

 

David Green

Trainer

David joined Micro Matic in 2001 as an Area Sales Representative responsible for six midwest states. Dave joined the Training Group in 2006 as a course instructor, facilitating both three-day Dispense Institute programs and on-site training. During his tenure as a Micro Matic Area Sales Representative, he consulted with wholesalers, retailers and system installers with a simple goal of accomplishing a perfect glass of beer.

Joe Linquist

Trainer

Joe, aka the Micro Matic Knowledge Architect, is an expert in draft beer business development with more than 25 years of experience in the beer business. He is a professional educator with a rich blend of technical and business skills, a passionate, creative individual, who takes pride in engaging others and achieving goals by doing things differently.
