Most beer line cleaning chemicals are harmful or fatal if swallowed. Therefore, when cleaning beer lines, it is important to always rinse lines thoroughly. To ensure chemicals are thoroughly rinsed from lines, it is recommended to always check the pH level of the rinse water. If not within the normal 7.0—8.0 range, then it is likely that chemicals are still present within the lines and additional rinsing is necessary.

The pH testing paper, also known as litmus paper, is dipped in the rinse water and changes colors to indicate pH value. Then simply match the color of the paper to the color chart on the thermoplastic dispenser to ensure a pH value of 7.0 – 8.0.

    FEATURES

    • Easy to Use – These paper strips have a distinct color match at each full pH unit, making it easy for the user to identify the correct pH level. Simply tear off a small strip of pH paper, dip into the test solution, then instantly compare the resulting color with the matching pH color chart.
    • Convenient Design – For convenience and efficiency, the paper comes in a plastic dispensing container. The container holds (1) 15 ft. roll of paper, giving you plenty of use out of a single roll. It provides for approximately 200 tests.
    • Wide Testing Range – Hydrion Insta-Check offers the widest test range available in a single paper, with level 0.0-13.0 testing.
    • Immediate Results – The distinct color chart and accurate, reproducible readings give an immediate response for quick and easy use.
