Default Pump vs. Pressurized

Is there a huge difference in the effectiveness of these two cleaning systems? Almost done with my first 1/4 keg and am looking to purchase a kit. Is the pressurized worth the extra $30?

Years ago it was determined through testing that circulation with a pump is 80X more effective then static cleaning with a pressurized pot. Pumps are particularly advantageous when you have multiple lines to clean. If you are just cleaning one direct draw line, then a pressurized pot clean with a soak of at least ten minutes should do the job.

If you think about it, this may be a true statement. If the marker is the short style, this forces a bartender to grab it lower and possibly opening the faucet quicker. this prevents foam associated with the faucet in the midway position.

As to the comments on your AB experience, there are those beer distributors who have de-prioritized draught to a point where training is nonexistent. The knowledge from AB is there. They simply wish not to utilize it. Just the same, thanks for the kind words.
