    Default Help Needed

I just bought the Nostalgia Kegorater KRS 2150 and upgraded the Regulator to a dual gauge system. I currently have a 1/4 barrel of Mich. Ultra in and I get a bunch of foam for the first few pours and to combat this I end up filling a large mug first to remove the foam. So when I have the PSI at 10 or greater the beer seems to fly out and be all foaming and now I have the PSI way too low at 6 PSI. From reading this forum I can assume the keg is flat! Does the PSI going into the Keg directly effect the speed of the beer coming out? Also can someone send me a link to a reasonable therometer to test the temp of my beer. I am starting to think having a kegerator is more hassle then its worth. One last question: I still have the stock beer line in and reading this forum leads me to believe I may need a longer one and I am wondering the proper length and the size that is reccommeded and could someone explain why that even matters? Thank you so much in advance for your help
