    Default regulator problem

    Just bought a kegerator and 5lb. CO2 tank and hooked up the keg, everything seems to be assembled right but no matter what I try I can't get a single reading on the gauge and CO2 keeps escaping out from somewhere. I can't get it to flow through the tube to the keg. It is possible that I am missing a "special washer" but I went to the store and bought several different kinds and nothing has changed. Is that part a necessity? someone help me out

    Tanks come empty. Did you fill it? How do you know the CO2 keeps escaping out from somewhere?
