    Default Faucet coupling washers

Does anyone make a thicker faucet coupling washer???

I have some cleaning accounts where some of the shanks are worn and the coupling between the shank and the faucet will leak unless you you two faucet coupling washers. The second washer will not seat perfectly but will do the trick. A thicker coupling washer would be ideal, but to my knowledge nobody makes one.

These shanks are 25 plus years old and customers will not pay for new shanks. Anyone have any tricks?

Change the 4328 snap ring, the 4330 sleeve, and the 4332 coupling nut. This will solve your problem.

Thanks Beer DR --- The accounts where these problems occur are all brass faucets & shanks and because of FDA Regulation 4.101.14 it is my policy to not repair or replace any brass parts. Everyone is lawsuit crazy these days! That's why I was looking for the easy way out.

Your customers can't have the best of both worlds. They have to pay the price to bring themselves up to date, or deal with you repairing the items mentioned. These three parts never come in contact with the beer. The washer on the back of the faucet prevents this.

Ask this retailer if their microwave fried would the buy a new one? Time for them to invest in their draught.
