Default cleaning odd # of lines

Any suggestions for cleaning 5 lines (electric pump). I know I can double up on one of the lines--clean 1 thru 4, then 4 and 5. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this and found a more inventive way to do it in one shot.

Assuming you're cleaning from the cooler and jumpering these together @ POD, and your POD is too far from your pump, so that you cannot simply run piece of line to tie your input and return from the end of line 5 together...

You COULD use a "Y" fitting where your flow would normally hit the POD on line 4, to line 4 and line 5, and then "Y" it back together to your bucket / reservoir / pump, on the other side.

The only problem with this is that you don't know how much of your circulation is going through which line, which might result in a less than effective scrub...

If your pump is very strong, this might not be an issue, and you should be able to see the flow by observing the 4 and 5 lines @ the returns, but if this is not possible, you could always use a valved setup that would direct 100% of the flow for a specific time through one of the lines, and then through the other, while you are effectively giving the 1,2, and 3 lines 'double cleaning'. Just remember to reverse which two lines you have on the "Y" setup each time you come and clean and your regimen will be as balanced as possible.

A variation of the cleaning harness may work.

Build a 5 hose harness for the cooler, using a SSC-C2 (5/16" cross fitting) as the core then you can make the lines any length you need.

On one line add a Y fitting to make 5 lines. Use five FT-108 (single flusher cleaning cup), add a ball lifter (FT85-117) to the line connecting to the pump line.

This system cleans from the cooler out to the tower on all lines, so needless to say, leave the faucets attached while running solution. This will allow cleaning odd number of lines, but may increase the time required.
