Default Air Pocket Forms in the Line

Hi,

I have been having an issue with our kegerator where after you pour a glass you can watch bubbles slowly flow out of the keg and into the line until there is a large air pocket. Next time you pour you get a large blast of foam then it flows fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have tried running it every where from 8 psi to 15 without success thinking it might be something with that. After having trouble with temperature fluctuation I added a thermostat regulator that now keeps it at a constant 34 degrees F.

Thanks in advance!

Also my apologies for posting here, I just realized this is the commercial forum and can't delete my post.

This usually an indication that there is not enough pressure to keep the CO2 from comming out of the beer. You need to put a glass of water and use a calibrated thermometer to get an acurate reading of your temperature. You can adjust from there to reach around 38 and apply about 14 lbs to your beer. This should clear up any problems you have with this. If you want to know exact pressure settings then we would need more info like beer/style, altitude and actual temperature.
