Pressure/Foam?
I just bought the conversion kit from micromatic and converted a fridge. I have checked the air and liquid temp in the fridge with multipul thermometers, and I also have a SmartStrip Beer Volume and Temperature Monitor on the keg. The temp is 36.5 F. When we first got the keg I let it sit for a few hours in the fridge, then tapped it and set the pressure at 12psi. We drank it last night and the glass was a almost half foam. I played with the pressure today and got the foam to go down to about 2" on a full glass, but the pressure was set to 5 PSI, which I think is way too low, and now I am worried about the beer going flat. I know the lines are clean and this is a brand new system. There are no CO2 bubbles in the line.
My elevation is 1200
The Keg is Miller Light
The temp is 36.5 F
Any help would be much appreciated.
