Post First keg tapped...questions
hello...i just bought my first kegerator last night.

i set it up and let it run all day today so the tempature would be cold when i got the keg home. i tapped the keg, pressure is set to 12psi but i think i am getting to much foam. My line is 2 foot long i think.

I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to lower the foam...and also any tips that would be useful for a first time kegerator operator to know.

I have miller lite in there now, its gonna be used up tommorow for a beer pong tourney but i also ordered a keg of hoegaarden for after that. What kind of coupler do i need to tap that keg.

Any tips or suggestions would be helpful and i would apprciate everyones comments.

This is the coupler that you will need for Hoegarden: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...id-DH1501.html

As far as your kegerator goes you will need to replace that 2' length with about 5' of 3/16 tubing. Unfortuantely many of these units are shipped with too short a line to properly manage foaming. Get that line installed and keep it at 14 lbs and at 38 degrees and you will be all set. Good luck!
