Default Fast Flow Rate

I read somewhere that the target flow/pour rate is 2 oz. per second. I have 4 feet of 3/16" line in my new BM23, and the flow/pour rate is about twice that--it fills my 16oz. gl***es in 4 seconds (4 oz. per second).

This causes a "burst" of beer when I first pull the tap handle, it pretty much fills my 16oz. gl*** with foam.

I'm reading that a longer piece of 3/16" beer line will slow it down. Any idea about how much longer? Should I double the length to half the speed?

Thanks!
Jon

You also have the option of starting with a longer piece of 3/16th and cutting it back to achieve the desired flow. Eight feet might be a little long but start at 6 and cut back 6" until it's right. Make sure your pressure is set properly as well.
