Default Guinness Line Balancing

Okay, got my coupler issue resolved, thanks all for the help. I now am having some problems with the pressure. I'm getting decent pints, but I think they could be better.
I have about 12.5 feet of 3/16 I.d. beer line, the tap is about 4.5 feet higher than the base of the keg, and I'm using a blended nitro/co2 mix 70/30.
The formula I found to calculate pressure puts the correct pressure at about 21 psi. Again, decent pint, but it's not quite like at the pub. The bubbles settle very quickly after its poured and I only end up with about half inch head. I've tried raising the pressure to 28-30 psi with similar result. I checked to make sure the restrictor plate is in place and it is.

Any suggestions? Thanks again.

Pete

Turn it up until you get the right pour. You could also cut back on that line if possible. There is a lot of restriction in 12.5 feet of 3/16ths. Either one would achieve the desired results. I would be careful going much higher than 40 or so because temperature fluctuations could cause the pressure release valve to blow.
