Default Where to install CO2 manifold

    Hey guys,

I've decided I'm going to install a second faucet on my danby DKC645DLS kegerator as I've started homebrewing and just picked up 4 ball lock kegs. Since I'll now have two taps, I need to find where I will install my CO2 manifold. The only problem is: I have no idea where the heating coils are located, and what places are dangerous to drill/screw into.

This is where I would ideally place the manifold. When I put two kegs in, one goes right to the back where there is a little nook, and the second goes on the right side. This makes the manifold easily accessible and out of the way when moving my kegs. It's also close to the door so its easy to shut off CO2 to certain kegs and will making force carbing the kegs to be a breeze.

Does anyone who has this kegerator know what is located on that left panel? Should I be worried about screwing into there?

My second question is about how I should rotate my tower to have the two taps properly facing forward. I would like to place my second tap 90 degrees from my original tap. The only problem with this is that if I do this with the way the holes are drilled through the top, I will have one facing forward, and one facing directly to the side. I'm thinking of drilling four new holes in the top so that when you look head on, the two taps are 45 degrees to you.

Yet again, are there any dangers for drilling through the top? Any special techniques I'll need to emplot?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Not sure on the manifold. But try this part Tower Adapter - 3" Column - Chrome - 2 Hole - 1 Shank, for your faucet issue. Cheaper than a new tower .

Thanks, but unforunately I have already bought a shank and I'm not exactly willing to spend that much. But the suggestion is much appreciated!
