storage of too many kegs :)
Hey all. Let me first say thank you for all of your assistance. I've learned a ton and I've enjoyed quite a lot beer because of the help gained on this site. But I have an unusual quandry.
Here is my scenario. I have a 1/2 barrel of Miller Lite that is about 1/3 full. My neighbor just came back from Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving and brought me a tremendous gift of a 1/2 barrel of Yuengling! My problem is my kegerator won't hold both barrels. Because it was a gift and Yuengling is better beer, I took the Miller Lite out and it is sitting outside right now - it's only 39 here now.
I am a freak when it comes to not wasting beer so I want to be able to use the Miller Lite if possible. Would it be alright if I covered it with blankets in my garage or back porch or my basement? It is supposed to get up to the high 50s and low 60s the next few days but cool at night. I figure if I can keep it below 45 inside the keg for the next week we can polish it off in a party next weekend.
Thoughts?

Find a buddy with a spare fridge to keep it in, do the frat house trashcan and ice thing or just have a party and serve up the Miller.

I'd almost say you would be fine. I am pretty sure Miller Light is pasturized so there is no risk of spoiling. Won't be as fresh as when it was first tapped but it should certainly be drinkable.

You could open up a Beer Stand on your front lawn and sell glasses for 25 cents. Where do you live again?
On second thought...better not.
